Head of Growth (Sales, BizDev & Marketing)

TAGBASE is redefining product authenticity for the modern world. We’re a Austria-based startup building the best NFC-based authenticity solution on the market — no apps, just a tap. Our mission is simple but ambitious: to make counterfeiting obsolete while adding brand value in the premium goods space.
We’re already working with clients in the premium beverage and cosmetics industries — and we’re just getting started.
Now we’re looking for a driven, versatile, and strategic Head of Growth to take over Sales, Business Development, and Marketing. If you’re hungry to lead growth at a fast-moving startup with a world-class tech product, this role is for you.
Your Role:
You’ll be responsible for everything growth-related. That includes:
- Sales:
- Identify, qualify, and close deals with premium beverage and cosmetics brands (and beyond)
- Build and own the sales funnel from lead generation to closing
- Shape and test pricing strategies, sales playbooks, and customer success approaches
- Business Development:
- Forge partnerships with distributors, packaging manufacturers, and platform partners
- Explore and open up new verticals where authenticity matters (luxury goods, medtech, etc.)
- Marketing:
- Define positioning, messaging, and GTM strategy
- Oversee content, campaigns, events, and early PR/branding efforts
- Collaborate with founders on thought leadership, speaking opportunities, and lead gen
You Bring:
- 4+ years experience in B2B sales, partnerships, or growth — ideally in tech, packaging, luxury, or CPG
- Proven ability to close complex deals and build long-term relationships
- A founder mindset: proactive, resourceful, independent
- Strong storytelling skills — you know how to sell value, not features
- Fluency in English; German is a strong plus
Nice to Have:
- Experience in early-stage startups or scale-ups
- Familiarity with NFC, authentication, packaging tech, or traceability
- Existing network in beverages, cosmetics, or luxury segments
