We’re thrilled to announce that TAGBASE has been accepted into the ACCENT accelerator, the Austrian deep-tech startup program run by accent Inkubator GmbH.

This milestone isn’t just another line on our roadmap — it’s a validation of the work we’re doing to build trust infrastructure for physical objects: a verifiable identity, ownership record and history for physical products.

The Problem We’re Solving

Whether it’s a medicine, a cosmetic, a luxury good or a car part, brands, buyers and marketplaces increasingly need to prove that a physical object is what it claims to be. A printed label alone can’t do that.

QR codes, barcodes and static NFC tags carry fixed data, so a copy scans exactly like the original. The result? Brands lose trust. Consumers lose confidence. And marketplaces lose control.

  • No app required: customers tap the product with an NFC-enabled smartphone and verify right in the browser.
  • Clone-resistant NFC: NXP NTAG 424 DNA chips create a new cryptographic signature each time they’re tapped. TagTamper variants add tamper evidence.
  • Live verification: each tap is checked on our server against a one-time signature, so a copied or replayed tap fails.
  • Blockchain-ready — Optional tokenization of physical assets for proof of authenticity and ownership.
