Introducing the TAGBASE VERIFY JavaScript Library: White-Label Product Verification Made Simple
We are proud to announce the release of our first JavaScript library: @tagbase-io/verify.
The library makes it easier than ever for brands, manufacturers, and solution providers to integrate TAGBASE’s secure NFC product verification directly into their own websites and digital experiences.
Product verification under your own brand
With TAGBASE’s white-label solution, customers can tap an NFC tag and complete the entire verification journey on the brand’s own website.
The new JavaScript library handles the communication with the TAGBASE verification infrastructure and returns the verification result directly to the website. This means companies can design the complete user interface and customer experience themselves, while TAGBASE securely manages the verification process in the background.
The customer stays within the brand’s digital environment, without being redirected to a third-party verification page.
One lightweight library, all relevant verification data
After installation through npm or a CDN, developers can retrieve the result of a TAGBASE verification with a simple JavaScript function.
The library communicates whether a verification is:
- Pending — the first scan was successful and a second tap is required
- Valid — the NFC tag and product were successfully verified
- Valid with warnings — the product is genuine, but additional information should be displayed
- Invalid — the product or NFC tag should not be trusted
It can also provide the product title, description, images, documents, custom product data, tamper status, verification messages, and optional geolocation information.
This gives companies the flexibility to determine exactly how verification results are presented to their customers.
Built for secure two-tap verification
TAGBASE-supported dynamic NFC tags generate fresh cryptographic information whenever they are tapped.
The first tap confirms that the received information is valid. The second tap confirms that it is new, something a copied or cloned tag cannot reproduce correctly.
Our JavaScript library supports this complete two-tap process and provides the information needed to guide customers through it within a fully customized interface.
Easier integration. Complete brand control.
The release of @tagbase-io/verify significantly simplifies the development of white-label verification experiences.
Instead of building the complete communication layer from scratch, developers can integrate our library and focus on what matters most to their business:
- Creating an experience that matches their brand
- Displaying relevant product and verification information
- Supporting different languages and customer journeys
- Connecting verification results with existing digital services
- Building customized experiences for authenticity, tamper detection, warranties, ownership, traceability, and Digital Product Passports
The package is lightweight, typed, compatible with modern browsers, and can be installed through npm or included directly through a CDN.
